Werewolves. Vampires: Can't stand sunlight, liquid diet (usually reserved for sick people). Werewolves: CURED by sunlight, only monstrous once a month, can eat solid food, often recognized as being one of the few beings able to stalemate vampires.
And vampires are blindingly overdone.
