Another gory one: Zombie (Technically, Zombi II, but Zombi wasn't released in the US) It has a beautiful eye-gouging scene.

Even Night Of The Living Dead is gorier than Sweeney Todd. The blood looks more realistic and they used chocolate syrup for that, instead of watery ketchup. (packed up rant, yesh)
I haven't ran into especially gory movies really, unless by sheer bad luck (C. Holocaust, avoid like it's black plague) or peer pressure (SAW films). I'm not looking for gore in the first place, but some goriness in a right spot on plot is okay, even good sometimes.
I guess the goriest films (with decent- erm... not-too-bad plots) I've seen are the classic horror/slasher/splatter films. House of 1000 Corpses is probably the goriest in these standards (a classic? Depends how you approach it). Or Braindead. Jackson's films have sure changed from those days.
